Why Isn’t Yeshua (Jesus) Following Me?

If Jesus had a FB page, (sounds like a country western song) I might be astounded by the number of “followers” He has, but also surprised at how many of His posts are ignored, didn’t get “liked” or even got angry faces or “not liked”. I have been tempted to unfriend Him a few times in my life.
In my soulish prayer life, He’s not performing the way I want Him to, and He’s not following ME; He’s not healing people on respirators, bringing criminals to justice, rescuing the abandoned, “moving the hearts of kings” to my preference. In this COVIDLY-Confusing, Geo-Political Hurricane where world powers are shifting faster than Earth’s tectonic plates, I realize I kind of have to suck it up and follow Him anyway; like Job, like the Christians in Afghanistan, in India, in Iran, etc. who are not taking selfies with their persecutors; who aren’t posting bitterly and tagging Him to make their suffering end, but who are just trying to stay alive, keep their family safe and find a way to trust Him, love Him and be faithful to Him. I see the “twenty-five to forty thousand” people (according the Angela Merkel) who have been left behind as a sort of First-Fruits of a heartless system of leadership. It all seems like such a perfect set-up, red carpet, if you will, for the anti-christ to capture (snare) the heart of our rescue-weary world.
22 Yet for your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.23 Awake, Lord! Why do you sleep?
Rouse yourself! Do not reject us forever.
24 Why do you hide your face
and forget our misery and oppression?25 We are brought down to the dust;
Psalm 44
our bodies cling to the ground.
26 Rise up and help us;
rescue us because of your unfailing love.
We are in the final days of the 6th month; Elul. Next Monday night is the Seventh Month; Tishrei 1 is The Head of the Year, Rosh Hashanah, aka Coronation Day. (Keep that in mind). Ten Days of Awe and repentance follow. Then The Day of Atonement. Five Days later, Sukkot, or The Feast of Tabernacles, where we dwell in temporary structures with branched roofs so we can see the stars and remember that our earthly home is fragile and flimsy. Also an opportunity to identify with brothers and sisters who are fleeing cruelty right now. And also a time to “tabernacle” with Him.

This is a good time to get our houses in order, to repent on behalf of yourself, your family and your country, and to appeal to God’s mercy on behalf this country.
Here’s a song/prayer that I’ve found helpful with that:
Rachamim Avakesh // I Ask For Mercy // רַחֲמִים אֲבַקֵּשׁ Lyrics & Music: Yariv Goldman
I will bear a prayer for my people
My heart has become as water within me
I will cry out to the living God Who sees me
In my mouth a prayer for mercy I ask for mercy
For Your name’s sake I ask for mercy
